TAs have access to all actions instructors do and can create, edit, start, and close polls.īeginning May 6, 2022, McGraw Hill Connect will have a new instructor experience available for select pages.TAs can access Polling in Connect through the New Experience.Each student will receive one entry into the LMS grade book for their overall polling score.For users with a Connect course integrated with a Learning Management System (LMS) using LTIA, scores will be sent to the LMS Grade book. ![]() Scores will be displayed within the Polling in Connect interface for all users under the tab labeled "Polling Scores".Note: This does not take student correctness into account. Score for Participation calculates the student's score based on the number of questions they answer out of every question that received results from students in the poll.Score for Attendance gives the student a 100 for responding to any question in a poll and a 0 if they do not respond to any questions.Users can choose if a Poll is marked as "Scoring for Attendance" or "Scoring for Participation".The new polling feature, available in all most recent edition Connect courses, allows instructors to engage students in real time by creating and launching question polls.
